Currently, pivoting into research. My research interest is in how machine learning can be used in developing regions.
I am currently exploring how machine learning can be leveraged to help developing countries adapt to climate change in
the area of Agriculture. I am also interested in how machine learning can be used to target humanitarian aid in developing countries. Coming from an underrepresented community, I am also passionate about AI bias.
I strongly believe that the most effective way to deal with bias in machine learning is empowering the underrepresented groups to create instead of just being consumers.
